What’s new? - Trends in the world of automotive interiors
Schlegel und Partner attended the Automotive Interior in Stuttgart in 2024 to explore new interior materials, technologies, concepts and innovations to provide up-to-date insights to their customers in mobility and transport as well as in nonwovens and technical textiles.

Sustainability improvements alongside material and feature innovations played the biggest role again at the trade fair. Hereby, increased recyclability of materials and parts through mono material constructions, material savings by only enhancing the most strained areas of parts as well as showcases of circular economy and insights into new material researches were introduced by the exhibitors.
The necessity for cross industry partnerships to meet increasingly strict environmental regulations and still maintain competitiveness without scarifying quality and functionality was among the most important topics discussed at the exhibition.
