2. A smart and pragmatic regulatory environment is required. In this context, many companies still struggle in finding transparent and reliable data for CO2 emissions along their products and value chains.
3. Innovation is and will remain the key pillar of our competitiveness. Smart solutions will be required to fulfill growing customer needs while still staying price competitive. Many participants stated that a product just being “sustainable” doesn’t lead to competitive advantages and willingness to pay. In addition, new solutions must be innovative and provide additional performance or price advantages.
